In recent years, the integration of moral virtue in educational philosophy has received increasing attention as an effort to build character development and ethical reasoning among students. This study explores the theoretical and practical dimensions of incorporating moral virtue into the educational framework, as well as its impact on ethical decision-making and moral awareness. Through a systematic literature review, this study synthesizes the findings from recent studies published in the last five years to analyze the role of virtue ethics in education. The analysis shows that educational institutions have a crucial role in instilling moral virtue through the curriculum, pedagogical strategies, and school culture. In addition, the study identifies key challenges in the implementation of virtue-based education, including contextual variations and the need for teacher competence in moral teaching. These findings indicate that a holistic approach that integrates cognitive, affective, and behavioral dimensions is essential for effective character education. This research contributes to ongoing discussions on moral education by providing insights into best practices and policy recommendations for educators and policymakers.
