Abstract

This article provides information about the fact that the Uyghur people established an independent
state twice in the first half of the twentieth century and called this state the "East Turkestan Republic",
as well as the expansion of the Uyghur victories in uprisings and the strong influence on other regions
of the Uyghur state, the people's aspiration for freedom and independence, the East Turkestan Islamic
Republic is the first step of the Uyghurs towards statehood and their first experience in this area.
