Abstract

In this article the Kokand Khanate, one of the biggest khanates in Central Asia ruled in 1710-1876, the role of its military system in the social, political and economic life was described. The article mainly focuses on the analysis of the formation of the military administrative system in the khanate, its lower, middle and higher ranks, material and technical supply of the army and the achievements and faults of the military administration on the basis of the historical sources and archival documents.
