Abstract

The Indian state of Uttarakhand, located in the northern Himalayas, is renowned as Devbhumi, or the Land of Gods, and is a haven of breathtaking natural beauty. Worldwide, the hospitality sector is growing quickly, and it is predicted to continue to play a significant role in the economy by producing the needed foreign exchange reserves and, at the same time, generating job possibilities. Simply said, stress is the result of internal or external influences influencing a person. Stress causes a person to react in ways that impact both the person and their surroundings. In addition to being a good worker, a productive employee is thought to be highly motivated and have a positive outlook. Stress's effects on motivation, performance, and attitude are also covered; this can help employers better understand their staff and give them the tools they need. The purpose of this research study is to comprehend the elements that affect workers' levels of contentment and discontent with the work-life balance environment in which they operate. Additionally, in this study paper, we will develop a few strategies and tactics that the hotel industry may apply going forward to effectively manage their worker’s work-life balance (WLB) in order to improve productivity and optimize their human resources.
